SPONSORS NEEDED FOR BEAUBIEN'S ANNUAL WALK-A-THON

With Spring right around the corner comes Beaubien's 6th annual Walk-a-thon fundraiser! The Walk-a-thon (WAT) committee is hard at work rounding up fabulous prizes to award the students for their fund raising efforts.

The Walk-a-thon will take place April 30th - May 4th. Walk-a-thon sponsorship packets will be distributed to the students March 28th in order to take advantage of Spring Break. Parents: Start brainstorming with your kids about the people they will want to ask to sponsor them.

The committee is soliciting support from community businesses and organizations in the form of sponsorships and donations. We do this so that the cost of the prizes/incentives and other WAT expenses will not need to be paid for out of the funds raised by the kids. We again would like to encourage "Beaubien businesses" --businesses owned by, managed by, or with a very good contact to a Beaubien parent- to join us in supporting the Walk-a-thon.

Do you have a business or know someone who does? It's not too late to get in on the action and highlight your business within the Beaubien community. Beyond the opportunity to support the best of the causes- our kids', donations to the Walk-a-thon are tax deductible.

We are grateful for any level or form of support, from food donations for the WAT volunteers to coupons and other promotional items for the swag bags to monetary donations with sponsorship levels starting at a mere $30.

Walk-a-thon T-shirt Design Contest

Calling all students...calling all students!!! This year’s Walk-a-thon t-shirt contest is will run from March 7th-March 21st. Students are encouraged to submit their T-Shirt design during this time. The winner will be announced the week before the Walk-a-thon, when t-shirts are handed out. Contest design forms and rules will be handed out in March.
